Delta reps member presents scholarships to constituents

Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, on Sunday, presented certificates to the ten beneficiaries of his university scholarship scheme to study at Madonna University.
The presentation ceremony of the certificates held at the House of Representatives member’s Erawha-Owhe country home was witnessed by the member representing Burutu Constituency 11 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Peres Oloye.
Others were the Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, Bishop of Oleh Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. John Usiwoma Aruakpor, and the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, Prof. Arthur Essaga
In his remark, the sponsor and founder of the UJA Family Foundation (UFF), Hon. Ukodhiko congratulated the worthy recipients of the university free-tuition scholarship.
He stated that, the free-tuition university scholarship which has been running for almost a decade was instituted to encourage academic excellence, professionalism and sustainable growth in Isoko nation.
The House of Representatives member charged the beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of their parents, guardians, and Isoko North/South Federal Constituency.
While advising the recipients not to look down on themselves, Hon. Ukodhiko enjoined them to look unto God and be focused on their studies in order to graduate with excellent grades at the private university and be of help to their parents, and add value to their community and humanity.
In his words, “Go out there, and make us proud. Be outstanding and let your light shine to the world. Very importantly, you must be disciplined and make positive impacts.” Hon. Ukodhiko added.
