Own, Edo – The Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, has flagged off grading of earth roads in Owan West local government area of Edo State.

The Speaker while flagging off the exercise, noted that , he remains committed to giving the streets in the locality a 'level base', as the expansion and extensive grading of the link roads would ease the challenges motorists pass through while accessing the various link roads in the communities.

A visit to Ehimika, Ajanaku, Aunty Grace streets, and other streets by our newsmen in the area revealed massive grading exercise, as the 'Arah of Evbiobe' and emeritus Professor Joshua Unuigboje Aisiku, commended the Speaker for the intervention, adding that, the opening and grading of the roads would make automobile movements easy between communities, especially, this yuletide.

He commended Agbebaku for his show of concern and efforts in the grading of the roads.

The emeritus Professor also used the medium to thank him for the executed road projects he facilitated in Owan West, urging him to continue to attract the dividends of democracy to the people

Other residents also expressed gratitude to the speaker for remembering their roads and prayed God to continue to guide and protect the Assembly Boss.

The streets/roads far graded by the speaker's effort are Ukpafigbo earth road, Umahoin, Madam Helen, Dele Ogunleye street, Cemetery road, Giwa Amu road, Ehmika street; opposite Ajanaku street.

Others are Jegede street, GeoDam Street Oke New, Aloma street,Esezobor close oke New, Odion street , farm road Oke New and a host of other streets, with work still in progress.
