Benin, Edo – Prominent Edo PDP chieftain Chief Dan Osi Orbih has been appointed chairman of the governing board of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, by Governor Monday Okpebholo

ln a statment by the Secretary to government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, titled : “GOV OKPEBHOLO RECONSTITUTES GOVERNING BOARD OF AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY, EKPOMA, Chief Orbih was named Chairman of the governing council along side six others.

The statement by the SSG reads:

“It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public that the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the reconstitution of the Goverming Council, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

The Members are:

i. Chief Daniel Osikheme Orbih- Chairman
ii. Martins Osakwe- Member
iii. Prof. Steve Amiemenkharu Iyayi- Member
iv. Hon. Lukman Muhammad- Member
v. Prof. Idialu Jeremiah Uwaifo- Member
vi. Prof. Eric Kelly Inanemo Omogbai- Member
vii. Prof. Omoruyi Ikponmwonse Osahon – Member”

Ikhilor further said in the public notice, that, “the appointment of the aforementioned names to constitute the membership of the Governing Council, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, is with effect from December 31, 2024”.
