Delta to support victims of tanker explosion

Agbor, Delta – Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has commiserated with the families of those who lost their lives in a tanker explosion in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta state.
The fire, caused by a fallen tanker on Sunday, destroyed several buildings in the Agbor metropolis and claimed four lives, leaving behind significant property damage.
Oborevwori, represented by his Deputy, Monday Onyeme, led top government officials on a visit to the families of the victims and conducted an inspection of the damage on Monday.
Onyeme stated that the state government was deeply moved by the tragic incident and assured victims of its support.
He said, “What happened was an unfortunate accident. Those of us who are alive will do what we can to cushion the effects of the accident on the victims and their families.
“It was an unfortunate incident, and our governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, asked us to come, assess the situation, and commiserate with the families of the victims.”
