Uhunwode, Edo – Residents of Ugonoba Community in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo state have appealed to the State Government and other relevant stakeholders to address incessant kidnapping and the deplorable state of Public Secondary schools in the area.

The residents also expressed displeasure over lack of other critical infrastructures in the area.

According to some residents of Ugonoba, an agrian community, noted for farming, kidnapping in recent times has been the order of the day, aside lack of infrastructural facilities and Chieftaincy squabbles bedeviling the community.

A youth Leader in the area, Eliot Ikponmwosa disclosed that the situation had developed to a worrisome dimension following the activities of herdsmen in the area and lack of public infrastructure in the community.
