UGHELLI, Delta – In a commendable demonstration of their commitment to the education sector, Team Eddie Onosorhue, in collaboration with the SSA on Political Affairs Hon. Okiemute Eddie Onosorhue Jnr for Sheriff 2027, successfully enrolled eight pupils at Owhrode Primary School and four pupils at Ovworhokpokpo Primary School today Friday, 31st January 2025.

In addition, the team funded the purchase of uniforms for five students at Erhiephihor Primary School.

This initiative, led by Hon. Eddie Okiemute Onosorhue Jnr, highlights the team's strong dedication to advancing the educational agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. Recognizing the critical need for security in schools, the team also provided Owhrode Primary School with a security house to be renovated.

Mr. Vaikosen Lucky Okpako, Headmaster of Owhrode Primary School, expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of his staff, thanking Hon. Okiemute Onosorhue Jnr and Amb. Vincent Sire Ighoteguolo, Coordinator of Team Eddie Onosorhue for Sheriff 2027 and Ward 02 PDP Youth Leader, for their generous support. Mr. Okpako highlighted the significant relief this initiative has brought to the pupils' parents, providing much-needed assistance.

The discussion also touched on school security, with Mr. Okpako requesting the SSA on Political Affairs to alert the local community security to help protect the school from vandals and other security threats.

He further suggested the installation of solar-powered lights to enhance security during nighttime.

Additionally, Mr. Okpako raised a concern regarding Ovworhokpokpo Primary School, noting that although pupils had been shortlisted for enrollment, the school authorities had not received updates, despite social media reports indicating that payments for enrollment had already been made.

The news was met with deep appreciation from the head teachers involved. Mrs. Adjekator Queen of Erhiephihor Primary School and Mrs. Mercy Aghororo of Ovworhokpokpo Primary School also expressed their gratitude. In conclusion, the pupils prayed for the long life and sound health of High Chief Eddie Onosorhue JP, as well as for the continued success of the entire team.
