Tracka demand details, completion of water project in Rivers community

Tracka, a civic-based organization have called on the Niger Delta River Dasin Development Authority (NIGER DELTA RBDA) to provide the public with details of N10 million allocated for construction of Solar Powered Water Scheme at Yea, in Khana local government area in the 2024 Rivers state Budget.
The organization made the call in a post on its X account, on Saturday.
Tracka also called on the contractor handling the project to return back to site to expedite work on the road
"N10m was allocated to the Provision of 10,000 Gallons Solar Powered Water Scheme at Yea, Khana LGA, Rivers state in the 2024 FG Budget.
"We tracked and report that a 10 gallons tank has been installed. However, residents told us that the facility stopped working last year– a few weeks after construction.
"We call on NIGER DELTA RBDA, the implementing agency to provide the public with details of this project and call the contractor back to site to assess this project for repair.", It posted on X
