Four senators from Akwa Ibom and Osun States officially defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) on Wednesday.

The senators are; Etim Aniekan Bassey (Akwa Ibom North East), Sampson Ekong Akpan (Akwa Ibom South)

Others are Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi (Osun East) and Olubiyi Oluwole Fadeyi (Osun Central).
