With all sense of honesty, even if the Edo Obaseki faction of PDP is caused with the Plague of not being able to organize thoughts together, they should be able to know that all the mentioned infrastructures to be fixed in the redesigned and remodel Oba Market can't be short of billions in naira and Kobo and can't be in millions.
The Purported "Obaseki Planned to renovate the burnt fire section of the market in collaboration with Oredo LGA for 960m"!! And yet never did for almost four years is a Pointer to the Poor narrative building of the Edo Obaseki factioned PDP.
Such statement is even of a slap on our collective intelligence. So Obaseki as a Governor with access to FAAC allocation+ IGR and Oredo LGA couldn't not raise 960m to renovate a burnt section of Oba Market for years but now that with a complete redesign, remodeling and building of infrastructure I'm the market is taking place, we have decided to subject critical thinking to the it lowest and start comparing notes of "960m to 17b"
A single health center renovation project in Uromi by Obaseki that was never done gutted 1.5b naira from the 2024 budget implementation of Edo state by the same Obaseki. Same man was using 1.5b to renew the "E-Governance" Platform with the server host consultant in Lagos annually until the Okpebholo govt stopped it.
23b naira Agripreneur funds that was never utilize has never been accounted for, All money spent on Benin City mall doesn't have any traceable records in the Edo state accountant General Office!! The asset verification report said the AG office explained all projects records were taken and submitted to govt house with order from Obaseki and handed to his former CoS "GBOVO"!!
The people that supported these level of profligacy that ought to hide or challenge Obaseki to come out from his self inflicted " Fugitive Status " Including his former CoS and give account of his time as Edo Governor for 8yrs are now trying so hard to canonized Obaseki to a "Sainthood".
It will not WORK.
