Recently, Dr. Osifo spoke to BENDEL Mirror on a wide range of issues related to his quest to be governor of Edo State in 2024.

Conscience Is Critical.

If you have conscience, it means you will vote for me because I stand for the development of Edo and Nigeria as a whole. You will not be busy supporting an APC senator and a reps member that used our scarce resources to buy SUVs for themselves.

The huge cost of the vehicles would have been better used for building factories and establishing farms in their constituencies that will benefit the common people.

When I was a council chairman of Uhunmwonde Local Government Area in 1999, I rejected a brand new 504 Peugeot Best Line as official car. I did so because I considered it a misplaced priority to give me such an expensive car at the time. My strong conscience won't allow me to accept the car but the other 17 council chairmen accepted the vehicles.

My conscience in 1999 is still intact with me today. If voted for I will bring it to bear on governance in Edo State.

Yes, conscience is the critical issue that will fastrack development in the state. That is why you should not support a stranger from Lagos that Obaseki has brought to replace him. The stranger has no record of ever voting for anybody in Edo. No conscientious record of ever voting for good governance. No record of supporting his community. All he is campaigning with is telling voters he will give them business money.



Think Of Your Future

So; my dear Edo people this no time to be thinking of money today and forget your future. Always think of your future. Think of the future of your children. Always think of the future of Edo State and Nigeria. Don't eat today and forget tomorrow.



Why I Am In The Race?

I am in the governorship race to secure today, tomorrow and future for Edo State. The blue print to achieve a prosperous today, tomorrow and the future are with me.



Antecedents

I will disclose this plan as time goes on in my campaign. However, if you know my antecedents you will have an insight into my development agenda for a prosperous Edo State. Recall, I didn't accept to ride in a brand new costly 504 Peugeot oficial car while i wss a council chairman of Uhunmwonde Local Government Aea in 1999.

This is not all, I have a string of accomplishments as council chairman. To start with, I am the first chairman to live permanently in my council area of work. Note, too, I built the largest council quarters in the whole of Edo State.

Also, I built Eyaen Cattle Market, it is the biggest in Benin Kingdom.

As council chairman, also, I established farms for the council which have been a source of sustainable revenue tor the council till date.

Women traders equally got my attention. I supported them with soft loans and other assistance packages.

Even university students of Uhunmwonde origin benefitted from my administration. I offered bursary awards to them as youth empowerment.



Sports Development

Oh!! I almost forgot to say that as a council chairman I encouraged sports. My sports interest paid up. I became the first council chairman in Edo State with a youth football team which travelled to Norway for an international competition which the team won returning with a trophy.



Clarion Call To Voter's.

I am the best candidate in the race to the Government House, Benin. So, vote my APGA party and I into office on September 21, 2024. No sentiments. Only Dr Isaiah Osifo with verifiable antecedents in knowledge, sound experience and community service can rescue Edo State from its current socio-economic and political mess.

Trust, i won't fail you. I will improve tremendously on my achievements as a council chairman and chief of staff to Prof Oserheimen Osunbor to become the best governor Edo State will ever have.
